Kuhl-Linscomb Design Firm was established in 1984.  Prior to 1984, Pam Kuhl-Linscomb, ASID, worked in management and buying in the retail/fashion industry after graduating from the University of Texas in fashion and design.

The Kuhl-Linscomb Design Firm is an award-winning firm, and Pam was listed in House & Garden magazine as one of "the best American designers working today".  Two stores, Kuhl-Linscomb-Decorative Center of Houston (established in 1994) and Kuhl-Linscomb - Upper Kirby District (established in 2001) evolved from the design firm and were built on this foundation of great style and design.  In 2003 the two stores merged into one location, tripling the total square footage.

Recently, the Better Business Bureau of Metropolitan Houston recognized Kuhl-Linscomb as the Pinnacle Award Winner - the top award in the retail category at the Houston Awards for Excellence.
